I am the youngest of 5 children. My mother is from Vaikom. My father was from Ambalapuzha, Kerala who came to Malaya in 1927 at the age of 24. Later, he went back and married my mother and brought her over to settle down here for good.
My father was a planter with Harrisons & Crossfield, a Bristish rubber plantation company, for many years. His last posting was in Castlefield Estate, East Gate Division in Sungai Besi.
Like many other places, this estate too was given up for development. Now, at this site stands Sri Petaling Gardens, a small residential township.
